THE ROLE

The Implementation Consultant role will focus on the deployment of our server based software in the customer’s environment. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the lifecycle of our product deployment.

To drive and lead the successful implementation of Global Meet Skype Server (GMSS) product for Modality and PGI customers

-Discuss requirements with customers

-Integrate with Lync/SfB voice policies

-Remotely deploy software

-Take ownership of any technical issues with deploying GMSS and see through to resolution

-Configure and test all elements of the service before handover to support

Note: Modality and PGI have global customers so this role will require some out of hours work to support deployments in the US and APAC regions.

Install and configure Modality Node software as part of the Impact Assessment and Diagnostics services

-Discuss requirements with customers

-Work with customer teams to resolve any issue

-Deploy Modality Node software in the customer’s environment

-Configure Node software where required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Refine and develop implementation processes for GMSS and Node software.

Work with the Modality support team to build knowledgebase and identify key/known issues in the solution

Work with Product Managers and Owners to feedback potential improvements to the products based on customer feedback.

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

-Ability to implement and deploy Lync/Skype for Business server into a customer’s environment

-Basic understanding of Lync/Skype for Business server voice policies and dial plans

-Comfortable working with Powershell scripts and troubleshooting issues

-Experience working with other technical teams from different vendors

-Comfortable communicating with different functional teams within an IT department EG Network, Firewall

-Strong knowledge of all the key elements of an enterprise infrastructure including Active Directory, Firewalls, Network Configuration and Desktop experience.

KEY TO THE ROLE:

-Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively

-Ability to pro-actively drive the implementation and provisioning process through to completion

-Comfortable owning and swiftly resolving any technical issues throughout the deployment process

-Mature and presentable

-Strong organisational and time management skills

-Ability to work as part of a team across time zones and to share information and lessons learned with the wider Solutions team at Modality
