Web Development Lead needed for highly recognised and pioneering business in Swindon. If you consider yourself a Web Systems Developer who has the capabilities to lead Agile methodologies (Scrum), whilst designing, developing, testing and maintaining a leading product suite - then Computer Futures want to hear from you…

Due to continuous success, this market leading business will urgently require you to analyse, design, develop, debug, unit-test and promote best practice. Driving innovation is key!

Being a leadership role, the split between development and leadership will be 70%/30% respectively.

How will my day look?

* Enabling delivery of multiple simultaneous software development projects from design to release.

* Being responsible for the day to day operations of the Web Systems Software Team.

* Mentoring and fostering a team of professionals, to deliver to the production and innovation roadmap.

* Working closely with other team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and coordinated development, while providing accurate delivery estimates.

* Overseeing quality and structure of software design, change management and code reviews.

* Design and implementation of web based applications & services to meet the requirements of company's software product suite.

* Follow the necessary software life cycle to ensure successful introduction into production and customer deployment.

The following skills are required. However, the company will not expect you to have outstanding experience within each category, and will help to provide daily support in areas of;

* MVC 5

* .Net Framework 4.5+

* C# v4 +

* Visual Studio 2013 +

* Entity Framework 6+ (code first approach)

* SQL Server 2008 R2 + design implementation and optimization

* HTML/CSS

* Bootstrap

* JavaScript/jQuery

* Web API
