We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager or Senior Planner for a well-known and respected large construction business. As the business continues to grow and win more exciting complex residential, educational, leisure and public building projects (circa £10-100 million in value), they are looking to add an experienced and capable planner to their team.

Located in East Berkshire, this position will be involved in tendering, through to project completion, on projects in and around West London and the Thames Valley area.

This position will suit a person that is independent, self-motivated, and that can work as part of a team and understands the full lifecycle of a construction project.

Essential requirements

Must be able to put together tenders, and then manage a program from start to finish, liaising with all relevant parties to ensure the projects are delivered efficiently.

Experience working in the construction sector, specifically on residential, educational, leisure and public building projects (from £10-100 million in value).

Able to manage multiple projects.

Minimum 10 years' experience in similar position.

Must have a deep understanding of construction projects, and understanding construction drawings.

Relevant Degree or Higher Level Qualification

Asta Powerproject usage.

Must be keen and enthusiastic.

Must be a team player.

An articulate communicator.

Willingness to travel around West London and Thames Valley (as is required).

Remuneration

Salary on offer is negotiable depending on experience, but circa £75-90,000 per annum, plus a marketing leading benefits package for the right person.
