Quantity Surveyor - LeedsDay Rate: £250-£350Contract length: 6 months + (very likely extensions)An exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor has become available in the Leeds area. The business are a Main Contractor and mainly specialise in Commercial builds.RoleThe main focus of the role is to support the business with a variety of commercial build projects in and around Leeds, focused around claims. You will be helping with tasks such as construction package formulation, procurement of sub-contractors, and valuation / costing tasks.Requirements
'€¢Degree in Quantity Surveying'€¢5+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying'€¢Strong working knowledge of administering JCT contracts'€¢Good communication skills and strong English capability'€¢Knowledge of the construction industry'€¢Happy to be both site and office based'€¢Day rate depending on experience'€¢6 months + duration (likely extensions)
Day to Day role
'€¢Liaising with clients on project progress, milestones, and critical path analysis'€¢All Commercial duties including measurement, valuation and agreement of work sections'€¢Compiling monthly reports
