Embedded Software Engineer (Relocation Package)

£45,000 - £60,000 + Relocation Package + 33 Days Holiday + Pension + Flexitime

Are you an Embedded Software Engineer looking to get excellent technical development and progress to Senior Engineer level? This is an industry leading company that will support your relocation to the seaside town of Scarborough and surrounding areas.

You will be working in a small and highly skilled team on cutting edge controls software for power devices. Working across the full software lifecycle you will have a varied workload and increase your skills as an engineer.

The company are considered to be market leaders for their niche industry and are expanding, with offices across 4 continents they have excellent resources for development of their products and staff. This is a small team with a small company feel however.

This would suit an embedded C Software Engineer looking to work throughout the project lifecycle and bring to market cutting edge products produced in high volume.

The Role:

-Develop existing, and produce new code in embedded C

-Work throughout the software project lifecycle from requirements to test and validation

-Learn industry specific standards and protocols (MISRA, RS232, RS485, CAN)

-Use of IAR Embedded Workbench IDE, Keil, Eclipse, GCC and/or other similar tools

-Writing test scripts in Python

The Person

-Experience in embedded C

-Some understanding of full software lifecycle and keen to be expert

-Looking for technical development and a varied role
