SharePoint Developer - Glasgow

Salary: £40,000

We're looking to hire a SharePoint Developer to support the Business Solutions team based in Glasgow. The business has gone through unparalleled success in recent months and is looking to bring on a SharePoint developer who can realise the potential of SharePoint and how it can benefit the wider business.

Main purpose of job

* To Develop and support the firm's global Intranet.

Accountabilities

* Support the Business Solutions Manager with scoping and delivery of enhanced functionality for continuous improvement of the Global Intranet in line with software development standards;

* Support software development, configuration, maintenance, testing, documentation and deployment in line with a defined software development life cycle and set of standards;

* Migration of local intranets to global Intranet platform.

Skills, knowledge & behaviours

Essential skills, knowledge & behaviours

* Development and configuration of SharePoint Web Parts;

* Experience in technologies including C#, ASP.NET, XML and SQL Server;

* Proven front end skills: HTML / CSS / JavaScript /JQuery;

* Good understanding of User Experience Design and W3C standards;

* Knowledge of the software development lifecycle;

* Proficient use of Microsoft Office products.
