SharePoint Developer - Midlands

Salary: £50,000

Flexible home working, client facing development role, great career progression, do I need to continue?

My client, based in the outskirts of Nottingham is looking to hire a SharePoint developer to support the business in the design and development of the firm's Intranet structures and take on a variety of client's projects across the Midlands and the UK.

Responsibilities;

- Be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing and documenting SharePoint solutions.

- Create SharePoint solutions using best practice and maintain knowledge of current best practices.

- Make effective use of C# and PowerShell scripting language where necessary. Ensure programming solutions are documented.

- Formulate and draft recommendations for inclusion into ICT policies and procedures in relation to SharePoint.

- Develop client side solutions based on pre-gathered specifications.

Technical Language;

- JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks - React, Angular etc.

- TypeScript

- HTML5/CSS3

- Webpack

- SharePoint REST APIs

- SharePoint Framework (SPFx)

Skills & Qualities;

- Organisational skills are a must

- Written and oral communication of technical issues to different audiences.

- Ability to deliver training to end users and other SharePoint and IT staff

- Willingness, interest and aptitude to keep up to date and learn software and hardware systems as required.

The role offers a really competitive basic salary of up to £50,000 and additional company benefits.
