Two positions for passionate PHP Developers have opened up with an exciting fintech organisation based in Cardiff.They're looking for talented PHP Developers at the mid or senior level to join their growing fintech firm to work on a number of current and exciting greenfield areas. Similarly, if you are more frontend focused they would be very interested to hear about your experience and what you're looking for, so do reach out either way.They provide high quality financial advice for clients on a corporate and a private basis, using the wealth of experience they've developed over the past few decades. This is a great chance to join a team who have modernised the business on the software side and are now augmenting this even further.Their current tech stack is the following:
'€¢PHP Version 5+'€¢MVC framework experience would be ideal; they're currently utilising Symfony 2/3, with some V4 taking place too. If you don't have this specific technology feel free to reach out'€¢Microframeworks - Silex'€¢HTML, CSS, JavaScript'€¢Some greenfield projects have been planned in NodeJS/React, giving you the chance to either input your current knowledge or learn new technologies here too'€¢Test Driven Development, Design Driven Development'€¢Agile working environment
Whilst the tech stack looks demanding, my client has excellent opportunities for training and progression, so if you have experience with some of these technologies/practices but not all of them do still get in contact. I'd be happy to hear from you!Some of the work you'll be doing will include working on current internal systems like their bespoke CRM, aiding in building and updating the website following a recent rebrand; inputting modern CMSs and boundary-pushing cloud portals; automating fund screening to streamline financial processes for their clients with client portals; integrating APIs with 3rd party providers and many more areas. The business as a whole has a huge roadmap of plans for the future, they just need passionate and enthusiastic developers to do it!You'll be joining the current software development manager at the moment to work on these high-quality solutions, thus having a good communicative ability and being keen to work with a very experienced developer would be ideal.Salaries are offering in the range of £30,000 - £50,000 with an excellent benefits package as follows:
