Our hugely successful international client is starting new CPU development activity in Southern Ireland, and seeks a DFT (Design for Test Engineer) to join this new team.

This is a superb chance to join one of Europe's fastest growing silicon design centres developing high-performance SoCs in the most advanced technology nodes. As the successful DFT Engineer, you will join as one of the first hires into this new CPU group, and be tasked with implementing advanced DFT and DFM techniques for high performance CPUs. You will enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary ASIC team, working as the key point of expertise for DFT.

Requirements include:

- A University level qualification (BSc / MSc) in Electronic Engineering or similar

- Several years' experience in DFT (Design for Test) for complex SoCs

- Solid knowledge of:

o Scan insertion

o ATPG and related tools, such as TetraMax / Encounter Test

o Scan compression

o At-speed testing

- Scripting skills in Perl and Tcl

- Strong problem solving skills, and a keen eye for detail
