Desktop Support Engineer

Bridgwater (Somerset), Bristol and Gloucester based

Pay rate - £175 - £200 (negotiable) per day

We have a fantastic opportunity with a great client, a truly world leading organisation, on a long term programme of work.

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineers for a great project.

Key Skills/Experience;

* Support required for phone users, full instructions provided to hand over new phones after connecting the users phone to Office 365 mailbox, Retrieve old phone to return to customer.

*Oversee and update assigned support service requests.

*Handle daily technical support activities on desktop support, data network and server management.

*Providing the Breakfix support for Desktop, laptops and other components.

*Setup desktop computers and peripherals and test network connections.

*Install and test desktop software applications and internet browsers.

*Test computers to ensure proper functioning of computer systems.

*Train end users on usage of computer hardware and software.

*Trouble shoot the hardware and replace the hardware components; Laptop keyboards, Ram etc.

*Extend computer support for systems software and hardware.

*Setup computers and install software for various applications and programs.

*Interact with staff on desktop problems and their resolution.

*Network and connect computers within organisation to better communication.

*Maintain computer peripheral devices like printers and resolve associated problems.
