Duration: 6 Months

Responsible for providing technical implementation tasks for both internal and customer projects, required to deliver well tested technical solutions and processes in line with documented requirements.

Role Description:

The ALM Consultant is a highly-skilled and increasingly in demand

role. A hybrid business consultant / technology

solutions provider, you will work with customers to understand

their business requirements, delivering these as working

technology solutions. You will also provide product training

and consultancy.

Whilst customer consultancy skills are key, this is a technology

delivery role. You will undertake challenging Atlassian product

certifications and present product training courses.

Task Description:

ALM Consultants work with clients to translate business

requirements into working business solutions. They also

provide Atlassian product training and consulting services.

Tasks:

Identify customer business requirements and deliver these as working business

solutions

Provide consultancy on the use of Agile, Scrum, CI/CD and software development

in Atlassian tools.

Technologies:

Scrum, Agile, Waterfall delivery methods and principles

Advanced consulting and business analysis skills

Advanced Atlassian administration skills, ideally Atlassian certified

Understanding and application of code management, Continuous Integration,

Continuous Deployment

Technical Skills:

Atlassian administration, ideally JIRA and Confluence certified

Broad-ranging knowledge and experience of other Atlassian applications including

Crowd, Bitbucket, Bamboo

Use of technology solutions such as scripts located in Jenkins to call training

environment creation and destruction routines

HTML, XML

Integration of Atlassian tools to other market leading ALM and service

management technologies such as HP ALM and Service Now.

Functional analysis and product feature comparison
