Do you have some industry since completing your degree? Do you have experience of designing mechanical moving parts or special purpose machinery?

This highly regarded world leading company specialise in the design of special purpose machinery which are supplied to range of high profile companies across the world. Due to ongoing demand for their high value machinery they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Junior Mechanical Design Engineer they can train and develop to be a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer.

In this role you will be required to produce detailed models, designs and drawings according to concepts and specifications. You will produce BOMS, assembly information and other documentation to support the manufacturing and service teams. Once designed you will assist in the construction and testing of prototypes, measuring and recording test results.

This company have a great reputation for looking after their staff and enabling their engineers to reach their potential. Therefore this role would ideally suit a Degree Educated Engineer with some industry experience who wants to be involved in all stages of the design and development process whilst being developed to become a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer.

The Role:

* Mechanical Design of specialist special purpose machinery

* Design from concept to completion

* Redesigning existing machinery

* Creating BOMS

* Assist in the build of prototypes

* Testing and report writing

* Using SolidWorks (Training can be given)

* £25,000 - £30,000 + Profit Bonus 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Flexible start and finish times

The Candidate:

* Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

* Degree in Mechanical, Electro - Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering

* Must have some industry experience

* Must have experience of any 3D CAD system

* Must be eager to learn and develop

* Want to work for a decent company where you will be well looked after

* Must have excellent communication skills
