Contract Test Analyst - IBE/Airline/e-Commerce (Manual) - Rate TBC

Dubai

An opportunity for a Contract Agile Test Analyst has arisen to work for a prestigious organisation based in Dubai, the role will be working alongside an expanding development team, focusing on the development and Test of Mobile Apps / Web. You will be part of an agile SCRUM team delivering enhancements frequently to production. Your primary responsibility as a tester will be to design and execute test cases and identify defects.

Responsibilities

-To participate and contribute to analysis in order to understand story requirements and identify optimum test approach;

-To create high quality acceptance criteria/test scenarios using Gherkin (Given/When/Then)

-Conduct different types of testing including

oFunctional/End to End/Regression

oIntegration Testing

oWeb Services Testing

oDevice Compatibility

oExploratory Testing

-Target test execution effectively based on the impact of changes

-Constantly review and update test cases

-Understand and represent customer needs in product feedback discussions

-Participate in release management and post deployment testing

Key Skills/ Experience

Essential

-Airline IBE Testing Experience

-Expertise in testing mobile applications - Android and iOS (Tablets and phones)

-Strong experience of testing on Agile SCRUM projects

-Well versed in writing scenarios using Gherkin/Cucumber

-Experience of testing Web Services using SOAP UI

-ISTQB Foundation level

-Experience of using Jira Agile

-Experience of using HP ALM

-Experience of testing Mobile Apps using Simulators and Device Cloud (e.g. Genymotion, Perfecto, Device Anywhere etc.)

-Customer centric mind set to come up with test scenarios that test much more than stated use cases

-Ability to think out of the box and beyond the obvious to uncover behind the scene type bugs

-Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

-Resourceful, flexible, and adaptable. You have a "killer instinct" to get things done. You motivate those around you by your own contribution, commitment to qualify, professionalism, leadership, and teamwork

-Computer Science background

-Ruby or Java development Experience
