Project Manager (Engineering - Full Project Lifecycle) - Liverpool - Up to £40k

Huxley Engineering and a Global Name in Engineered Asset Protection Solutions for the Energy, Renewables, Oil & Gas and Marine Industries, are looking to recruit a Project Manager on a permanent basis for their UK HQ (Engineering & Manufacturing), due to succession planning and project workload.

Based just outside of Merseyside (towards the Saint Helens area), my client are looking for a Project Manager with full project lifecycle experience, from contract / tender stage (working with the customer & sales team) right the way through to delivery.

Managing multiple projects at any one time (6 - 9) of varying size, stage & complexity, the Project Manager should have experience of managing project budgets, ranging from £25,000 up to £multi-million and have experience of working / contending with external factors (Ie customers changing project delivery dates etc).

Working with some of the biggest names in the Renewable & Energy Industry, the Project Manager should have previous experience of working in a customer facing environment, of working to fairly short project lead times (3 weeks up to 4 months) and of working in a demanding / challenging role.

Experience / Skills-wise, my client are looking for a Project Manager who possesses the following:

- Engineering background (Ideally Mechanical, but Civil, Structural, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering considered)

- Previous full lifecycle project delivery experience (including financial responsibility for project).

- Previous experience of customer facing project delivery within a Manufacturing / Engineering environment

- Articulate and effective communicator capable of working with stakeholders at all level.

- "Can Do" Attitude to Project Delivery

For the successful Project Manager, a salary up to £40,000 is on offer and this Project Manager role is commutable from Preston, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan and Liverpool, Ormskirk, Southport, Bolton, Runcorn, Widnes, Huyton, Prescot and Saint Helens.
