Excellent opportunity for an Engineer looking to take the next step in their career and join an international, market leading company that will provide specialist training to become a fully-fledged Technical Author.

Do you have Mechanical Engineering experience within Civil / Building Services, looking for a fantastic opportunity for progression and training to become a technical specialist.

This multi-disciplined practice is a pioneer in their field, raising the standards of project commissioning management in the construction and property development industry. They have also expanded into the Technology sector and offer both Workflow Management & Documentation software. Due to continual success they are seeking a candidate who will join the Technical Author team, assisting in the research and writing of technical documentation.

In this varied role you will be responsible for the production of Technical Documents and Project Handover Documentation. In order to do so you will be involved in researching and procuring information, attending brief meetings, liaising with clients to clarify technical issues and creating work schedules.

This role would ideally suit a Candidate with coming from a background in Building Services / Civils that is looking to join a global market leader and utilise their skills to write Technical Documentation.

The Role:

* Researching & procuring information

* Writing and editing Technical Documents & Handover Documentation

* Attending brief meetings and liaising with clients

* £25'000 - £30'000 + 33 Days Holiday + Excellent Training & Development

The Person:

* Knowledge of Building Services / M&E

* Must be degree qualified in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or similar

* Strong English Verbal and Written skills

* Commutable to Holborn
