A Senior QA Tester position has come available within a top tier Investment Bank. This is a permanent position based in London.

The Role

You as the Senior QA Tester will be joining the global IT organisation and be working with their Development Staff, stakeholders and be looked at to deliver to a various projects within their regulation and operations team.

You will be working throughout various stages within the development cycle, where as the Senior QA Tester you will be running UA and release testing. This includes formulation of testing objectives, and you will be able to contribute to their testing strategy. You will be able to have an impact on recommending functional and non-functional testing standards, as well as design and develop test cases by working with the Dev team, BA's and other key stakeholders.

Coming of the back of Major regulatory projects related to Mifid 2, this team will now focus on a couple of current systems that are being updated as well as a wholy new application.

There will be space to either repurpose their current testing frameworks or make a business case for a new test framework.

About You

As a Test Analyst, you will ideally have the following skills/experience:

* Automation Test experience

* Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle

* Selenium or similar automation tools

* Java experience

* Analytical approach and strong problem solving mind set
