Title: Senior Android Developer

Location: Berlin

Salary: EUR flexible - depending on level of experience

This leading edge R&D and product focused technology company is looking to hire an additional experienced Senior Android Developer to join their team and help them build state-of-the-art Android applications for their products.

You'll be working with an experienced team of full stack, iOS and embedded developers, and be dealing with SDK integrations, GUI development, Bluetooth, other connectivity methods and tight collaboration with their embedded software development.

You will be working with cutting-edge technology, integrated into a cool consumer experience, within a strong team

What you will do:

-Create a fantastic Android app for their product from a blank slate

-70% hands-on development, 30% research, prototyping, architecture definition and other related activities

-Collaborate, mentor, guide and review other engineers working on embedded software and device applications

-Drive key technological decisions around system architecture and requirements

Key skills/experience required:

-Experience in programming in Java, Kotlin or other technologies for Android (at least one application published in the store)

-Experience in working with Bluetooth connectivity, sensor outputs, audio stacks and IoT devices

-Knowledge of test automation and continuous deployment

-Msc. / PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent experience that's demonstrable (e.g. through open-source contributions etc.)
