Are you a Business Analyst with a passion for identifying and delivering system and process improvements that directly benefit the business, business users and customers?
This leading UK training provider is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated BA with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to become the SME for their student systems. You will be joining a small, friendly team of BAs working in a flexible and supportive IT department. This role offers the chance to really make a difference through identifying opportunities and taking responsibility for a development backlog for applications that are core to the business.
The ideal candidate will probably come from a mid-sized professional services or education organisation and have a track record of building good working relationships with colleagues, internal business stakeholders and external suppliers. Requirements
You will need the following skills and experience:
- A proven track record of working as a business analyst
- Demonstrable ability to own and manage a development backlog
- Ability to work on multiple small projects simultaneously
- An enquiring mind and ability to develop a deep knowledge of the applications and the business activities they support
- A strong business benefits focus
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Any of the following would be an advantage, but are not essential:
- Any experience with Learning Management Systems
- Experience of working in an Agile environment
- External supplier relationship management
- Experience of working with offshore development teams
- Understanding of change management and how to implement change
Benefits
A competitive salary is offered circa £40k-£43k plus a full and flexible benefits package including 25 days' holiday, pension, healthcare, life insurance etc. The client also offers flexible working hours and the option to work at home up to 2 days per week (after satisfactory completion of probation). The post is a permanent and full time position based in Central/North London N7.
