A small Consultancy seeks an Embedded Software Engineer with a passion for technology to join their talented team solving challenging engineering problems in data collection, sensing and communications. You’ll have a technical Degree, in-depth knowledge of embedded Linux OS’s as well as strong C programming skills.

Working across the whole range of development projects as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will get to participate in sales and project meetings with clients, with the confidence to generate technical responses to tenders.

The successful Embedded Software Engineer will possess the following:

                     A 1st / 2.1 Degree from a respected University.

                     A British Passport or be an EU National with 5+ years UK residency.

                     Have proven commercial design experience.

                     Embedded Linux operating systems / board support packages experience.

                     Development of real time software in C.

                     Experience with debugging and optimising embedded code.

It would also be highly beneficial to have some knowledge of Linux Driver development, Communication protocols, Wireless technologies, Yocto, Scripting languages, Build systems and application development for embedded Linux or Android platforms.
