IT Administrator - Purchasing / Finance - Excel - Cambridge - £25k - £28k pa

Our international client based in Cambridge is looking for an IT Purchasing/ Finance Administrator to join their IT Services Team.

You will work in conjunction with the Senior IT Management and Group Finance to provide purchasing assistance for all of the IT related expenditure group wide to effectively record the purchase, track and report against budget spend and control costs within budgetary constraints and deliver timely accurate reporting.

You will be responsible for:

Purchase management - including quotes, purchase orders and invoice payment / reconciliation. Budgets and commitment recording. Month end and annual accruals. Credit card reconciliations. Contract management - including renewals, T&C reviews and best value evaluations. Supplier management - including service delivery, account meetings, reviews, etc. Asset management - maintain the IT asset list, including hardware, software, contracts, loan equipment, stock checks, etc. Team administration - including meetings, leave, training, travel, accommodation, intranet page management, KPI reporting, delivery and courier management. Liaising with staff across the group to provide IT services. Negotiate prices with the retailers.Production of regular buying plans.

It is expected that you will have at least 2-3 years recent experience working as an IT Purchasing / Finance Administrator within a dynamic environment with solid Excel experience and skills.
