Title: OO Software Engineer - Mobile, Web

Location: South Wales

Salary: flexible - depending on level of experience

Global technology company in the VoD/Digital TV/Streaming Market is looking to hire a further Software Engineer to join its expanding team.

Essential Skills/experience required:

-Industry experience as a client-side software developer - Java and/or C++

-Good knowledge of object oriented design (OOD) and familiar with UML.

-Familiar with source and configuration management tools and concepts.

-Good understanding of modern build processes including, but not limited to Unit Testing and Continuous Integration.

-Excellent analytical skills and pro-active, with a strong problem-solving mentality

-Effective communication skills to integrate a highly dynamic team.

-Demonstrable experience of learning different technologies quickly and understanding their use with best practice in mind.

Highly desirable:

-Experience in Android, iOS, PC or Browser platforms

-Knowledge of DRM technologies.

-Experience in multimedia and/or media-player development.

-Knowledge/Experience in digital TV or IPTV systems.

-Experience in using Agile methodology.
