Oracle Developer:

A leading Investment Bank are looking for an Oracle developer to join there development team who are responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining database applications across the bank. In this role you will help the team continue the transformation of business processes through automation, visualisation using leading edge tools and technologies.

Role Responsibility

As an Oracle developer, you will take a lot of responsibly for leading projects and will have to be comfortable working in a leadership position mentoring junior members of the team and reviewing code. The projects you will be working on require you to be able to balance time and cost effectiveness with the ability to perform effort estimation for a given piece of work.

When you join you will hit the ground running, working on current ongoing projects to enhance existing tools before taking responsibility for building new tools and applications required by the business.

Key Requirements

As an Oracle developer you will need to have excellent Oracle and Database development experience working with Oracle RAC, and any knowledge of Exadata would be a benefit.

As it is a Database Developer role you will need to also have solid development experience with Oracle 11g, PL/SQL, database design and performance tuning. It is also beneficial if you are coming from another financial organisation or have finance knowledge particularly, although applications from candidates outside of finance will also be considered.

* Ability to write SQL quires, updates and performance code
