I am recruiting for a Junior Software Developer on behalf of a Tech Consultancy and Software House in Newcastle upon Tyne. They are a customer-driven organisation with a focus on delivering end-to-end Software/Web projects to a range of customers spanning multiple verticals. Moreover, they are what I would call a 'true Tech company' with a focus on a 'quality first' approach to Software Development, adhering to coding standards (SOLID, DRY) and industry best practice.

But enough about them... this advert is all about you.

The role will involve a mix of hands on programming and application support, with the chance to contribute to various stages of the full software development lifecycle. You will get the chance to work with skilled Senior Developers and will receive hands on mentoring and coaching with the ultimate aim of up-skilling you into a Mid-Level Developer within 12 months. You will join a friendly and collaborative culture and will be given the chance to work on some pretty awesome projects... sounds good right?

If the answer is a resounding 'yes' then all you need to do is demonstrate knowledge and commercial experience of the following:

* Commercial experience programming in C# and experience working with ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Entity Framework and SQL Server.

* Commercial experience working on Cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

* Commercial experience building Web applications using HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript and JQuery. Wider knowledge of AngularJS/ReactJS would be highly beneficial.

* Experience with CMS including Sitecore and Umbraco.

* Commercial experience implementing Agile/Scrum processes into a development environment, as well as a clear focus on adhering to coding standards (SOLID, DRY).

* Experience working across the full Software Development Lifecycle including an understanding of Automation Testing and Microsoft Infrastructure.

* Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development.
