ColdFusion Analyst/Developer

Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a ColdFusion Analyst/Developer for an initial 2 month contract on a rate of £450-£500/day (inside of IR35) based in Edinburgh.

The role:

Working as part of a team, you will assume an important technical role within the project. You will work with our Procurement team and Project Manager to produce the technical design from the business requirements already captured. You will then go on to develop and test the necessary changes to the existing system.

The system is written in ColdFusion 11 using the Mach-II framework, working with a Microsoft SQL Server database.

Requirements:

* Significant proven success in a systems analyst and design role.

* Experienced in developing ColdFusion web based applications using ColdFusion and the Mach-II framework.

* Ability to produce technical specifications.

* Strong end to end skills, from information and requirements gathering through to solution design and implementation.

* Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database.

* Knowledge of full text searching and indexing.

Desirable Skills:

* Knowledge of code management (e.g. version control, release management).

* Knowledge of automated deployment/continuous integration tools.

* Knowledge of software quality assurance tools and techniques .
