My Glasgow based client are currently looking to add an experienced Application Support Administrator to their team in Glasgow. This role would be incredibly well suited to a professional who has a keen interest in automation.

What does the role involve?

The role will focus on the administration of systems and applications. This is a role within a hybrid Microsoft and Linux focused environment, with automation being a key focus.

You can expect to support applications on both Windows and Linux, develop scripts using Powershell, Bash and/or Python and write SQL queries. You will take responsibility for automating processes and will take lead within this area.

What experience do I require?

* Application support within both Windows and Linux environments

* Script writing capability with either Powershell, Bash or Python

* Knowledge of Apache Tomcat is beneficial
