Scientist/Research and Publication Analyst

We are developing our capabilities in Assay Tool technologies for several areas of the business with a focus in our Customised Genomics workflow products.

The role is to review technical literature and publications for genomics products, to build a database of customer applications that cite our products and to help develop an application library. The role will be office based, but some option to do lab work would be useful.

Experience required:

* We need experience of researching genomics and diagnostics applications and workflows

* Knowledge of literature searching through databases

* Understanding and identifying key words and collating the data effectively.

* Working with cross functional teams to develop Process Validation and design transfer protocols and participate in manufacturing transfer, efficiency and reliability.

* Molecular biology experience is required

* Knowledge of Next Gen Sequencing is a bonus

* Familiarity with scientific publications.

* Preferably with BSc or equivalent, relating to development of conjugated biomolecules; chemical modification of biomolecules, molecular, immune or other biological assay application.

* Experience of working within a large-scale industrial environment would be beneficial.
