IT Continuity Manager Solihull Financial Services £40000 - £50000

My client based in Solihull are looking to recruit an IT Continuity Manager to join their team. This is a newly created role that will see you working to help facilitate the planning framework to ensure it meets business, Group and regulatory requirements.

This role will see you:

*Organise and manage the IT Continuity steering committee

*Gather IT continuity needs and consolidate / maintain the right IT continuity framework for existing IT assets.

*Ensure compliance with IT continuity requirements as well as: prepare IT Continuity reports and present IT Continuity risks for IT assets in production.

*Set up, coordinate and monitor the IT continuity framework for IT assets.

*Enforce IT Continuity frameworks with the Portfolio /Project Managers

*Having over all responsibility for data to day management of the processes.

*Facilitate the BCP tests as required and implement Group requirements and policies as well as define the Disaster Recovery plans and undertake regular SWOT analysis.

To be successful in this role you will need to ideally be ITIL and Prince 2 certified as well as be able to make decisions and ideally have experience in Capacity and Availability Management . You will previously worked in a trouble shooting environment and be able to support the Change Management Process and ideally have experience in producing terms of reference, policies and procedures.
