Controls Design EngineerTo be based in BirminghamSalary: up to £40,000 depending on experiencePermanentKey Skills: PLC Programming/Electrical DesignI have a brand-new requirement for a Controls Design Engineer to work for one of my key clients based in the Birmingham area working for a well-known Automation Company.They are looking for someone with a background in PLC Programming, ideally with the following skills: '€¢Strong Background in Electrical Design using either AutoCAD LT or Electrical in previous positions'€¢Proven Control systems experience using PLC's in previous roles'€¢PLC programming experience using Ladder Logic with Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley but any other PLC experience would be advantageous'€¢Schematic Drawing and diagrams experience in a previous position '€¢Full project lifecycle experience from either the programming or design stsg2e through to the commissioning stage '€¢Able to conduct themselves well and go out and met clients and customers on site and meet their requirements'€¢Strong HMI and Scada would be desirable going into this position'€¢WinCC, MicroLogix and Wonderware knowledge would be good'€¢Network communications knowledge would be helpful - Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet etc'€¢Good proven electrical qualifications '€¢Ambitious and driven individual looking for a new challenge '€¢Any knowledge of Eplan would be useful This is a brand-new requirement and my client is looking to bring a Controls Design Engineer as soon as possible.
