Business Analyst required at a leading bank to join a diverse transformation team facing off to senior Group Treasury stakeholders. The team are responsible for building and supporting a suite of applications and processes that ultimately enable the bank Treasury function to robustly manage Interest Rate Risk

Core activities are expected to be:

* Understand the business needs in depth from Product Owner and direct business liaison

* Work with cluster IT data providers to ensure data is accurate, formatted in line with requirements and has sufficient controls on data quality

* Contribute to the solution architecture working with the Architecture Owner

* Active participation in agile team ceremonies including planning, stand ups, retrospectives

* Feedback on and help to enhance acceptance criteria on stories

* Coach and train less experienced members of the team

Knowledge of:

* BI tools such as Cognos, Business Objects, Qlikview.

* Data warehousing environments.

* Working in an agile environment.

Successful candidate will have:

* Strong track record in data analysis/testing - technical skills are extremely important

* The ability to translate high level business requirements into concrete data deliverables

* SQL knowledge (Teradata SQL is desirable)

* Strong knowledge of Treasury or Finance and general financial markets knowledge
