A pioneering equities trading firm are seeking an algorithmic java developer to join their award winning equities team to work on front office projects focused on electronic trading.

As a Java developer you will join the Equities team working closely with quantitative, strategists and traders as you develop primarily within Java. Your contributions will be seen in real time, as you aid the execution of algorithmic trades as they effect front office revenue.

On a day to day basis you will be interacting with traders, quantitative analysts and strategists giving you key business exposure across the equities team. You will in a close knit team which will allow you to share your development ideas into future Greenfield projects. You will develop your technical stack as you have the ability to learn C# and python, whilst you are producing global algorithms, accounting for a significant proportion of the value traded on pan-European exchanges.

Key Skills

- Strong java development skills

- Experience with messaging, connectivity platforms

- FIX

- Business communication skills to interact with Front Office.
