Job Title: GIS Support Officer

Salary: £17,681 - £18,870 per annum

Based: Cromer, Norfolk

Job Type: 37 hours per week, 2 Year FTC

Closing Date: Thursday 7th June 2018 at 9am

Interview Date: Tuesday 19th June 2018

The company are delivering a significant programme of Digital Transformation which will impact on every aspect of our organisation. It will deliver better value, quality, and efficiency in all of our services across the surrounding area.

At the heart of that transformation is the development of a user friendly and engaging web based GIS systems.

To support this they are looking to appoint an additional GIS Officer to join their small team developing and maintaining the company's public facing and internal GIS systems and infrastructure.

The Candidate:

The successful applicant will work on the maintenance and development of advanced web based GIS systems and the spatial data they display and will have a passion for this area of work.

You will be flexible, adaptable and accurate in your work. You will develop your existing skills to manage the internally produced and third party spatial data sets including OS MasterMap and Address Base Premium.

With an existing understanding and interest in the use of SQL, and associated data management tools, to manage data from a wide variety of sources effectively. You will also be keen to develop your knowledge and skills in this area further.
