BI Business AnalystOur global client, a true market leader in the manufacturing field, is urgently looking for an experienced BI (Business Intelligence) Business Analyst to join their team based in Swindon, on a ocntract basis initially for 6 months with a view to extend.The BI Business Analyst will be passionate about getting the full value out of data and will be joining at a truly exciting time, during the early stage of building up the Business Intelligence capabaility within our client's IT landscape.BI Business Analyst - Key Skills: '€¢Experienced in working with stakeholders at all levels, including senior stakeholders, to elicit business requirements and needs'€¢Excellent people management skills, including influencing and building consensus between stakeholders'€¢Data discovery and analysis skills'€¢Strong problem solving skills'€¢Able to manage own time, operate independently and execute own work with minimal supervision from other BAs, PMs and Product Owners, including balancing multiple priorities'€¢Documenting user stories'€¢Background in dimensional modelling and data mining'€¢Analytical mind with problem solving aptitude'€¢Ability to be innovative and take initiative'€¢Experience of visualisation tools - Desirable'€¢Manufacturing or engineering industry experience, ideally automotive - Desirable'€¢Data warehousing certification - Desirable'€¢Data science experience - Desirable BI Business Analyst - Responsibilities: '€¢Understanding and documenting business requirements'€¢Creating user stories'€¢Defining historical data load requirements'€¢Defining handling of slowly changing dimensions'€¢Supporting BI architect in identifying appropriate data sources'€¢Supporting business in testing, training and acceptance of solution BI Business Analyst - Business IntelligenceDue to the volume of applications received for positions it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
