Job Summary
In this role, the Internal Recruiter is responsible for providing a professional and efficient recruitment service to the business. The key focus will be to ensure a great candidate experience, and a smooth recruitment process. Managing the screening process, ensuring that candidates are undergoing an exceptional candidate journey and that qualified candidates are provided to the hiring manager.

Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience working in a recruitment role, providing the full end to end process. It is preferable that you've worked in an in-house role, sourcing for technical roles, i.e. Developers. You will understand the market space and the challenges facing technical recruitment and have the ability to provide advice and guidance to hiring managers on the best methods of sourcing the best talent.
You will be organised in your approach, as part of this role is not just recruiting amazing people, it is also taking the lead on on-boarding and induction and managing all administration, e.g. offers, contracts of employment, new starter information, as well as being responsible for the probation process.

Some of the responsibilities will include:
* Lead on the implementation of any new initiatives to support the recruitment strategy
* Suggest ways in which the Leighton profile, as an employer, can be raised externally and manage this by establishing relationships with relevant organisations.
* Screening applications in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining Leighton standards at all times and creating the very best candidate experience.
* To be the main point of contact for internal and external candidates, answering queries and providing follow-up correspondence to candidates
* Ensuring the database and candidate files are kept up to date, ensuring we're GDPR compliant
* Offering successful candidates and providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates as required.
* Is the expert at exploring new recruitment channels and provide recommendations to the Head of People
* Monitors the job market and prepares analyses and summaries of the main job market movements
* Develop and manage full lifecycle recruitment services, including all administration, i.e. contracts, offers and probation
* Leading on induction and on-boarding initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must have worked in a previous recruitment role, preferably In-house recruitment
Must have experience of recruiting niche technical roles
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships
Excellent attention to detail.
Motivated to drive your own successes and personal development.
Familiarity with social media and other professional networks
Experience of graduate and apprenticeship programmes
