Base Location: Gosport
Please note, the location for the role can only be Gosport and frequent travelling will be required to Bristol and Scotland.
A leading defence and security consultancy are looking to bring in an experienced maritime programme manager to join their maritime centre of excellence and help them with mission critical contract deliveries, working on high profile and complex projects.
Highly regarded in their market place specialising in test and design of naval mission systems with fantastic customer retention rates.

The role:
* Overseeing a complex contract delivery
* Support of the governance from a contract delivery perspective
* Meet with internal and external stakeholders regularly
* Maintaining all standard project forecast metrics
* Internal monthly meetings to understand what stage the project is at
Essential Experience required:
* Extensive experience required in programme management
* Understanding of MOD priorities
* Contract delivery - (Strong track record required in Complex programme delivery)
* Maritime industry background (submarine or surface ship)
* Leading large scale project and programme teams
Security clearance
The successful candidates will need to undergo Ministry of Defence security clearance to SC level and ideally you will be happy to go to DV in the future. Due to the nature of the projects and systems you have access to, you will also need to be a British citizen to be considered.
