A FinTech company based in Leeds require a Senior DevOps Engineer / DevOps Team Lead to help set up their centre for global software development.

We're looking for a talented Engineer who has at least 3 years' experience working with AWS, Docker, Terraform, Bitbucket, Jira, Chef, Jenkins.

This contract would suit someone who has a keen interest in staying up to date with the latest technologies and advancements, and someone who can suggests ideas and different approaches to ways of work.

Contract length: 6-12 months

Location: Leeds

Rate: £600-650 per day

Responsibilities:

Building environments and pipelines for different projects

CICD of internal processes

Administration of hosting and cloud providers

Application life-cycle management

Technical input into the design of new projects and the use of new internal tools

Infrastructure provisioning and configuration management

Required experience:

Similar experience in a Senior/Lead DevOps position

Knowledge of automation tools

Experience in modern deployment strategies

Excellent experience with Linux System administration

Good knowledge of DevOps concepts like IaC, CI, CD, Containers

Experience with the following technologies - AWS, Docker, Terraform, Bitbucket, Jira, Chef, Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, VMware, Git
