Information Security Awareness Analyst

My award winning and market leading client is looking for a passionate Information Security Awareness Analyst to join their growing Information Security Team. This role will be based at the company's Head Office in Banbury, North Oxfordshire.

The Information Security Awareness Analyst will be responsible for IT assurance activities related to people and awareness, including the security awareness program, the analyst will work closely with the IT Assurance team, the wider business, the Change team, IT Services and suppliers. You will ensure colleagues know, understand and follow security and IT assurance requirements and behave in a secure manner.

Skills and Experience required:

*Experience of working as an Information or IT security resource in a mid-size organisation.

*Good experience of communicating security aspects such as good practices, incidents, stories to different business stakeholders.

*Track record of delivering presentations to different stakeholders.

*High level understanding of technical architecture and security aspects of infrastructure technology.

*Experience of writing and communicating policies, standards, guidelines and processes

*Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulatory compliance, and security frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR.

*Strong people skills with experience of working with external customers and suppliers.

*Ability to take complicated, technical or logical concepts and translate them into a clear, easy to understand messages

*Experience of working in a small team

*Demonstrable experience of proactivity, with the ability to work collaboratively or individually, as required

*Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
