Job Title: Data Scientist

Location: Portsmouth

Rates: £550-650 per day

Length: 6 months (likely extensions throughout 2019)

Role

You will be creating innovative solutions on the latest cloud data science platforms, accelerating the learning of other team members and helping build a greenfield cloud platform. You will be part of a team tackling a diverse set of challenges across the business.

Requirements:

* Strong exposure to cloud data science / machine learning / artificial intelligence platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS)

* Good communication skills

* Good programming skills (e.g. Python)

* Degree in a scientific discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics)

Desirable:

* Azure,

* Azure ML Services

* Deep Learning (e.g. Tensorflow/Keras)

* Automated descriptive analytics

* Diagnostics

* Artificial Intelligence

* Graph databases

* Geospatial data science / visualization

* Optimization/planning/scheduling

* Python (Pandas, PySpark, Jupyter, etc...)

* Power BI / Tableau
