We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Sales Executive to join our Oxford based client. The Software Sales Executive / Technical Account Manager will be joining a growing company who develop software which is utilised by companies in the STEM industries. The role of Software Sales Executive is an important one, and requires someone who has a good understanding of OOP software, ideally from a technical or development background.
The new Software Sales Executive will be joining a thriving specialist projects team who develop bespoke software for clients in a dynamic role that will allow you get involved in both Technical Account Management and New Business Development. You will need to be technically literate and be capable of helping to drive sales business growth.
Working with the Director of Technology and Innovation the Software Sales Executive will be exposed to cutting-edge technologies and software that will enable you to really sharpen your skills and gain some valuable experience, opening your career to great future prospects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Software Sales Executive:
Developing relationships and creating new business opportunities
Strengthening working relationships with and managing existing sales accounts
Attending and presenting at trade exhibitions, conferences and networking events
Reporting regularly to the Director on activities and targets
Co-ordinating software project proposals with technical staff
Work with other marketing functions across the company
Experience in a similar role is essential and candidates will have to be knowledgeable about software and technology in general as well as be a confident, clear communicator.
