A leading digital technology organisation is seeking a number of Agile Software Engineers to join its new tech hub in Birmingham servicing clients within a 100-mile radius and having the ability to work from home up to 2 days per week- client and project dependent.This represents a truly unique opportunity to work as an Agile Software Engineer for a collaborative Digital/Agile tech consultancy that regularly features in the Sunday times top 50 "Best Places To Work", has an award winning training academy, (that you'll actually get to use), allows it's employees to work 2 days per week from home (depending on projects) and are involved in some of the most high profile, exciting and high-tech agile and digital projects in the UK.
As the leading provider of digital solutions to the public sector, candidates must be able to gain SC Clearance (having lived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years) as well as be ready, willing and able to work anywhere in the UK for 4 days per week (it is possible, although not guaranteed you can work from home once or twice a week). It is guaranteed that you will be working within a 120-mile radius from "home".
Within this technology focused organisation, the Agile Software Engineer will have the opportunity to work with an exciting modern technology stack including Cloud services, Scala and microservices building upon your existing skills within a forward-thinking environment, and with the full support of the organisation to introduce new tools and different ways of working to best effect.
To be a successful Agile Software Engineer you will have the following skills and experience:
A background in either Java, C# or PHP.Actively embrace the chance to work with new/different technologies.
In return, the Agile Software Engineer will receive a salary of £50000 - £90000 per annum.
