About the role

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer specialising in C# or Java, you will deliver high quality software testing services for our Customer Division. Providing vital assurance, you’ll ensure that a host of products, systems and services using cutting edge technologies meet customer requirements. Leading the testing effort within a scrum team, you’ll adopt a fully hands-on approach. Analysing user stories and requirements, you will design automated and manual tests using C# or Java. Your varied remit will include everything from creating testing strategies for major, complex projects, through to collaborating with development teams to improve test coverage and reduce testing time.

About you

To thrive in this role, you'll need to demonstrate a flair for thinking as both a tester and a developer, This will equip you to determine the best tests while ensuring good coding practice is used. Together with an ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing, you have a proven ability to lead and deliver professional testing services. A working knowledge of using C# or Java to write automated tests is essential. You have implemented successful test automation frameworks, and written Behaviour Driven Development tests in the form Given/When/Then.
