Location: Sheffield City CentreMy client is an award winning creative agency based in Sheffield. They build web applications and mobile apps for some of the largest companies in the world, as well as a plethora of companies and charities of all sizes. They are an agency that helps business effect digital transformation and have many clients. This means that they have many varied projects on at any one time, each with unique challenges. You will not be working on the same application or even the same style of application during your time here. It could be an angular based web application for a large multinational, a WordPress website, or a mobile app for a startup.
The ideal candidate will be skilled and comfortable working alone or as part of a team. There is excellent scope for personal development and learning within the role. Learning new languages and techniques is something we actively encourage.Skills & Qualifications '€¢HTML5'€¢CSS 3'€¢Javascript/Jquery'€¢SASS/SCSS'€¢Foundation Framework'€¢Adobe Creative Suite'€¢PHP'€¢Search engine optimisation'€¢Ecommerce'€¢Linux server scripting and maintenance'€¢Experience with SVN or other code versioning systems'€¢Wordpress or similar CMS You will be responsible for: '€¢Developing Bespoke websites'€¢Builing E-commerce websites'€¢Developing new features into their existing products'€¢Developing bespoke CMS'€¢Building new products based on customer feedback and market demand'€¢Assisting in the management of their cloud server infrastructure.'€¢Work on support tickets and bug fixes'€¢Be part of their friendly, laid-back, but driven business culture'€¢Be willing to communicate directly with clients face to face, by phone or by email My client is looking to pay up to £35,000 for the ideal candidate and is hoping to interview this week from Thursday 10th May onwards.
