A new role for a Test Analyst / QA Engineer (Linux, Virtual Machines, CentOS) has arisen, working for a market-leading, specialist solutions provider in Reading. You will join at a time of investment into both the testing environment and company, where you can learn new tools and approaches to automated testing.

As a Test Analyst / QA Engineer you will be working within an Agile team to deliver quality software solutions in line with agreed best practices, specifically utilising your proven Linux and Virtual Machine experience, where you will also gain exposure to Web UI testing.

Along with this, the Test Analyst / QA Engineer will be contributing to the creation and maintenance of automated test cases and plans, therefore any experience with Selenium

WebDriver or Cucumber would be desirable, but not beneficial as this can be learnt in the role. Whilst the role is predominantly automation, there will be some manual testing involved as well.

Skills required for the Test Analyst / QA Engineer:

* Solid QA / Software Testing experience

* Strong Linux experience is essential; working in a Linux command line environment, and with virtual machines. CentOS is preferred, but we are open to other VM's

* Automation experience desirable (WebDriver, Cucumber) but not essential

* Web UI testing experience would be good; this makes up a small part of the role

* Agile knowledge and experience

* Passion for technology, with a keenness to develop your career within QA and learn new tech!

Salary: £40k - £45k + benefits
