Up to £35,000

RP Analytics are working with a specialist Retail Analytics Business who are seeking an experienced SQL developer to work with their existing BI team, out of their Lincoln Office as they continue to grow. Reporting to the CTO you will work alongside a small team of developers to deploy, customise and extend core products and services for some of the biggest global names in retail.

The business has recently gone through a huge and exciting change and look set to grow rapidly over the coming 12-18 months, therefore offering some fantastic opporutniies for prersonal development and progression.

Essential skills:

Strong hands on TSQL scripting knowledge and experience Experience with creating and modifying ETL routines using SSIS 3 years+ commercial experience.

Desirable Experience with:

- SSRS and SSAS

- .Net/C# development

- Microsoft BI stack

- A Consumer Goods background (FMCG) or experience with EPoS data. Business analysis background

- As an experienced SQL Server Developer you will work on full lifecycle design, development, implementation and support projects.

- System deployment and customisation

- Working with business analysts and/or project managers you will ensure that core software products are configured to meet client needs

- Liaise with clients and data providers to ensure the smooth flow of data between systems

- Testing and validation of data integrity and accuracy

- Performance tuning of SQL objects

- SupportingAnalysts with their reporting needs

- Managing source code repositories through GIT

- Product development

- Work with the team to design and develop new functionality within the existing product set. This will include

- Designing new database structures

- Writing stored procedures

- Manipulating data using SSIS

- Building reports within SSRS

- Ensuring comprehensive documentation
