Operations Manager

A great opening for a rapidly growing organisation based in Central London. Owned by its management who are health professionals and scientists, we are dedicated to improving patients' lives and increase system efficiency through digitally supported health coaching at scale which is underpinned by robust scientific evidence.

Our current focus is to help the NHS mitigate the A&E and unplanned care crisis with a focused programme for high need-high cost patients

The Operations Manager will be a highly visible and credible leader both within the company and externally with our health care partners.

Responsibilities:

* To be responsible for the effective day-to-day operational management of the successful delivery of the Proactive Health Coaching service across all sites; making decisions, providing solutions and/or advice to staff in response to pressures that may affect throughout

* To take the lead management responsibility for meeting all operational performance targets

* Analyse business wide processes to facilitate performance and service improvement/modernisation and implement changes as agreed

* To ensure delivery of agreed outcomes to support business as usual

* To work with NHS/private partners to deliver on an agreed implementation plan to launch our services across new sites on time and to budget

* Provide summary reporting and analyses to support business delivery and contract management

* To monitor service delivery contracts to ensure delivery of those contracts. Early identification and reporting to the MD of any risks to that delivery accompanied with solutions to mitigate the risks

* To support site performance and taking prompt action to rectify

* Preparing reports and conducting service reviews with external stakeholders

* Full line management responsibility for any employee within your team

* Working closely with leadership and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention

* To provide data and evidence to support business case development

Mandatory Requirements:

* Degree qualified

* At least 5 years in a similar role

* NHS acute/Private Hospital operational delivery management at speciality or directorate level

* Implemented/launched new services in a NHS setting

Required skills and abilities:

* A thorough understanding and working knowledge of patient flow in the NHS acute setting

* Has NHS experience of implementation/managing operations in an acute

* Has experience or a sound understanding of working with multiple NHS Hospital and CCG departments (ICT, IG and R&D departments, ward managers)

* Sound grasp of key NHS policies, challenges and current KPIs

* Experiencing of working with NHS data
