Security Consultant sought for a six month contract at a leading utilities company. You will act as an SME delivering standard security services for application migration to public and private clouds; identifying, agreeing and implementing functional and technical solution requirements introduced through business change as well as managing security risks within the project lifecycle.

Based in Staines, you will join a friendly and collaborative team of professionals.

Requirements:

*Experience of working on various project sizes, from large programmes of work, through to small and complex projects

*Good knowledge of core infrastructure components e.g. DNS, Active Directory, Exchange, Proxy management, Public Key Infrastructure, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Database, API gateways

*Good knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GoogleCloud)

*Familiarity with industry best practise frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST and PCI DSS

*Knowledge of security products such as Endpoint Protection, Security Incident Event Management, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Content Inspection, Data Loss Prevention, Encryption
