A thriving Engineering organisation in Bournemouth are are looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join their growing business.

You will have responsibility for the successful delivery of numerous IT projects within the Datacentre, Communications & Infrastructure Services team based in Bournemouth. With a global reach, project opportunities are broad and multifaceted. Project work may include initiatives such as integration of global business sites, datacentre builds, major infrastructure upgrades and unified communication solutions.

As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

* Experience in IT planning and execution (PRINCE2 Trained and ITIL Aware)

* Experience Integration, Migration Networking projects,

* Demonstrated ability to apply IT to solve business problems

* Proven Leadership ability

* Strong negotiating skills

* Ability to confidently present ideas to all levels of business users

* Degree qualified or equivalent relevant experience

* 5 years + project experience

As an IT Infrastructure Project Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

Manage IT projects to the organisation's agreed project management standards (including a defined internal lifecycle management process based on PRINCE 2 principles)

* Liaise with project stakeholders including internal IT staff, business leaders and third parties to capture requirements, identify work packages and agree implementation and training plans

* Provide weekly status updates to the IT Programme Manager, key stakeholders and report up into individual programmes as required

* Monitor project deliverables according to schedule and budget

* Assist in defining budget requirements, manage budget spend, raise requests to purchase and supply budget reports on a weekly basis

* Provide regular communications to IT functional leads on the status of project milestones to ensure availability of resource, address any issues and mitigate risk

* Define resource requirements and work with internal managers to define priorities and ensure suitable resource allocation

* Adhere to project reporting requirements escalating risks and issues as necessary

* Hold regular project board meetings, manage risks and issues, follow exception processes and manage resources to achieve project goals

* Facilitate the creation and maintenance of project documentation clearly articulating agreed scope, objectives and benefits
