Web Developer based in Colchester

£45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

My client are currently looking for a Web Developer with strong PHP skills to join their team based in Colchester. The company are wanting to re write their current website and transition from CodeIgniter to Laravel so the successful candidate will have experience working with both frameworks.

Skills required

- Excellent knowledge of PHP 5 & 7

- MVC development patterns

- CodeIgniter 1/2/3 Framework.

- Laravel 5.5+ Framework / Composer dependency management.

- WordPress Administration / Development (Theme/Plugins)

- PHPMyAdmin / MySQL Database Administration.

- Continuous Integration / Deployment.

- Development of and integration of API's (REST).

- Good presentation skills.

- Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability speak to stakeholders at all levels.

- Have the ability to explain or describe a complex technical issue/solution to non-technical stakeholders.
