Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a Project Support Officer to join our rapidly expanding client in Birmingham on an initial 3 month contract, working to support a dynamic team of Project Managers and a Programme Manager in a datacentre migration work stream, expected to run until the end of this year. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join an in-flight programme of work, looking to work with, and learn from some highly skilled senior project members delivering a critical project to the business.

Our client is offering a 3 month initial contract, with a pay rate between £220-£300 per day.

If you are a Project Support Officer who can support a project team who are delivering a datacentre migration this year, this is a great opportunity for you. Our client is looking for a diligent Project Support Officer, to provide support within an in-flight programme, consisting of a strong team of Project Managers and a Programme Manager. This role would suit a PSO who is all about planning, staying on top of the project plan, ensuring that activities are tracked and corrective actions can be implemented effectively. You will also be keeping a track on risks within the project, highlighting them to the team, along with maintaining project governance throughout.

Essential Skills:

*Background in project support, ideally working to support and coordinate within infrastructure or datacentre type projects

*Good understanding of mitigating risk and maintaining project governance

*Able to monitor and maintain the project planning activities, confident enough to suggest corrective actions where needed

*Strong use of Microsoft products including Office, Project and Visio

*Background in financial services, and understanding of compliance to regulations
