Data (Science) Engineer - Junior to Mid level

My client is building a next-generation e-commerce platform and are looking for a junior-mid level Data Engineer to join their growing team. The data engineer will be working on one of the most exciting Deep Learning projects in e-commerce and has the opportunity to develop their skills in a friendly and helpful environment.

Based in the heart of Berlin, the client has a very international team where English is the common language. The company is very stable and backed by high calibre international VC investors.

Data Science Engineer Required Skills

* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred

* 1-2 years of relevant work experience

* Experience with Python

* Experience developing data visualization, machine learning, optimization and big data projects

* Experience with machine learning project post-production launch

* Exposure to SQL and relational databases (e.g. MySQL & NoSQL)

* English language is a must

Data Science Engineer Desired Skills (nice to have)

* Working experience with Hadoop and Spark is a big plus

* Knowledge in CUDA is a big plus
