£60,000 - £70,000 + benefits

Software Architect (Java/Spring/Hibernate) needed for a growing "post-startup" business in central Bristol. Having secured funding at the start of 2018 and already having made 3 hires into their technical team in Bristol this year alone; this business is now looking to bring a "guru-level" java programmer on board as Architect/Senior Architect.

The Software Architect (Java 8/Spring/Hibernate) will be joining a geographically dispersed team of 7 developers across two locations. You will be overseeing the expansion and development of a successful, unique and technically complex distributed computing product. They currently have an impressive global client base and are looking to branch out into additional markets.

This business, though small, are building an outstanding reputation in their chosen field.

You will have…

* Unparalleled expertise in java engineering

* Expert-level critical thinking and problem solving skills with highly strategic mind-set

* Experience with a range of operating systems, hypervisors and container engines

* Industry leading knowledge of distributed systems, scalability and fault tolerant design

* Solid understanding of IP networks including firewalls and VPNs

* Extremely high attention to detail
